How to Book / Namna ya Kufanya Booking

Following below is a step by step guide of how to do your booking and pay for your ticket online from the comfort of your sofa at home or in office without going all the way to a booking office. / Ufuatao ni muongozo hatua kwa hatua namna ya kufanya booking na kulipia tiketi yako kwa mtandao ukiwa hapo hapo nyumbani kwako, au kazini bila kulazimika kusafiri hadi katika ofisi za kufanya booking.

1. Open the Bus Online Booking Service website at http://www.bob.co.tz / Fungua tovuti ya huduma ya kukata tiketi za mabasi kwa mtandao inayopatikana katika anuani hii: http://www.bob.co.tz

2. Select whether you want to book a "One Way" ticket or "Return" ticket. / Chagua kama unataka kufanya booking ya safari moja ya "kwenda tu" au "kwenda na kurudi".

3. Select your journey route by clicking the downward arrow under "From" and "To" / Chagua njia (ruti) yaani "kutoka" na "kwenda".

4. Select date of travel. For roundtrip ticket there is also selection of return date of travel. Please note that Bus Online Booking Service has a cut-off booking time of 30 hours before travel date and time. That means you can only do your booking online up to one and a half days before date of travel. The last day before travel and the day of travel all bookings will be done manually as they have been doing in the past. This is deliberate to avoid conflicts of last minute double booking online and manually. / Chagua siku ya safari. Kwa safari ya kwenda na kurudi kisanduku kingine cha tarehe ya kurudi pia kitakuwepo. Tafadhali zingatia kuwa huduma ya kukata tiketi za mabasi kwa mtandao inapatikana hadi masaa 30 kabla ya safari. Hiyo ina maana siku ya safari na siku moja kabla huduma hii haitapatikana kwa safari hiyo na badala yake inabidi kufanya booking katika ofisi za booking kama ilivyokuwa hapo zamani. Hii imefanyika hivyo kuondoa uwezekanao wa mgongano wa booking siku ya mwisho kabla ya safari.

5. Click to choose number of passengers. Their details will be required later. / Bofya kuchagua idadi ya idadi ya abiria wanaofanyiwa booking. Taarifa zao zitahitajika baadae.

6. Click "Find Trips" to get options of travel for that date. Options include Bus Company, Type of Bus, Departure time, Arrival time, Seats available and price. / Bofya "tafuta safari" ili kupata orodha ya kampuni, aina za mabasi, nafasi zilizo wazi, muda wa kuondoka, muda wa kufika na nauli.

7. Click "View Seat" to see available seats and their location. Click on icon of preferred seat to select it, then click "Continue" / Bofya "Angalia Kiti" kuona viti vilivyo wazi na mahali vilipo. Bofya picha ya kiti unachopenda kukichagua, halafu bofya "Endelea" hapo chini.

8. Type details of the "Passenger Information" as shown below. The Passenger is the person who will travel. Please note that phone number is entered without country code "+255" or leading zero "0". / Ingiza Taarifa za Abiria" kama inavyoonyeshwa. Abiria ni mtu atakayesafiri. Tafadhali ingiza namba ya simu bila kuweka code ya nchi "+255" wala sifuri "0" mwanzoni.

9. Type the "Contact Information" as shown below. The Contact is the person who buys the ticket and details could be same as passenger or different. Please note that phone number is entered without country code "+255" or leading zero "0". / Ingiza "Taarifa za Mnunuzi" kama inavyoonyeshwa. Mnunuzi ni mtu anayenunua na kulipia tiketi na taarifa zake zinaweza kuwa sawa au tofauti na za abiria.

10. The next page shows a summary of charges and online payment option by using Pesapal payment gateway which, allow payment by Mpesa, Tigopesa, Visa and Mastercard. / Ukurasa unaofuata unaonyesha muhtasari wa gharama na njia ya malipo kwa mtandao kwa kutumia Pesapal ambayo inawezesha kulipa kwa kutumia Mpesa, Tigopesa, Visa na Mastercard.

11. Put a tick to accept our "Terms and Conditions". / Weka alama ya tiki kukubali "Vigezo na Masharti" yetu.

12. The online gateway give options to pay by using Pesapal Walet, Visa, Mastercard, Mpesa and Tigopesa. Please select one. The following picture shows an example when Tigopesa was selected. The gateway give payment instructions of how to make payment through Tigopesa by using your mobile phone. When payment is complete Tigopesa will give you a message with "Transaction ID". / Malipo kwa mtandao yanakupa uwezekano wa kulipa kwa kutumia Pesapal Walet, kadi za Visa na Mastercard, Mpesa na Tigopesa. Tafadhali chagua moja. Picha inayofuata inaonyesha mfano wakati Tigopesa imechaguliwa. Utapewa maelekezo ya namna ya kulipa kwa kutumia simu yako ya mkononi. Wakati utakapokamilisha malipo Tigopesa itakutumia message ambayo ina namba ya "Muamala".

13. Make sure the phone number which made the payment is typed correctly and below it type the Transaction ID received from either Mpesa or Tigopesa. This demo shows a Tigopesa number and an example of Tigopesa Transaction ID (Starting with BP and ending with a date). / Hakikisha namba ya simu iliyofanya malipo imeandikwa kwa usahihi na chini yake andika namba ya muamala uliyopokea toka Tigopesa au Mpesa kama ulifanya malipo kwa Mpesa. Picha chini inaonyesha namba ya Tigopesa na mfano wa namba ya muamala iliyopokelewa toka Tigopesa (inaanzia na BP na kuishia na tarehe).

14. The following page is an interim message while the transaction is being processed. It takes three seconds to complete and that's why the message ask you to refresh the page after five seconds to check whether the transaction was successful or not. / Ukurasa unaofuata unakupa ujumbe ya kuwa muamala wako bado unashughulikiwa na kwamba baada ya sekunde tatu utakuwa tayari hivyo uhuishe ukurasa baada ya sekunde tano kujua kama umefanikiwa au la.

15. The following page will appear after five seconds when the transaction has completed successfully. At this point the system will send an Email and SMS to the Passenger, SMS to the Contact and SMS to Bus Online Booking Service to notify successful payment and provide booking and ticket details. You can click "View Detail" to see details of your booking and print your booking, your receipt and your ticket. / Ukurasa unaofuata utaonekana utakapohuisha ukurasa baada ya dakika tano wakati kila kitu kimekamilika. Wakati huo huo system itatuma SMS na barua pepe kwa Abiria na kwa Mnunuzi kuwafahamisha taarifa za booking na tiketi. Unaweza kubofya kitufe cha kijani kupata taarifa zaidi za booking yako na pia kuweza kuchapisha booking, kuchapisha risiti, na kuchapisha tiketi.

16. When the "View Detail" button is clicked the system will give a summary of the booking and give options to print the booking, to print and receipt, and to print your ticket. / Baada ya kubofya kitufe cha kijani kilichoandikwa "Angalia" utapewa muhtasari wa booking yako na kuonyeshwa sehemu ya kuchapisha booking yako, kuchapisha risiti, na kuchapisha tiketi yako.
